Christmas 2010- Meme and Papaws

Okay…here we go…Christmas will probably have to be broken down into five different posts. I took 564 pictures within three days…and honestly, that’s not that many pictures…i think i took close to a thousand last year. It’s alot harder to take pictures with two children because we each were in charge of a child.

Here is the Christmas 2010 (and really every Christmas) Schedule:

December 23rd: Supper/Gifts at Meme and Papaw’s in Sterlington

December 24th:

9:00AM (We did move it to 9 this year because we have two more babies and we all have to be somewhere that night) Breakfast/Gifts at My parents (Hoods)

5:00PM Supper/Gifts at Matt’s Parents (Woodard’s) in Arcadia

December 25th:

All Day- Our house with just the four of us…sooooo nice to be able to relax and play

5:30ish Supper/Gifts at Mamaw’s House in Dubach

This post will be from the 23rd at Meme and Papaws. As soon as we arrived, Trigger hopped up in Papaw’s lap. This is funny because Papaw always laughs about how Trigger is so wild and rambunctious…and he is right, he usually is. But for some reason he needed a little down time in Papaw’s lap!

Isn’t this picture adorable of Trigger, Sydney, and Abby. I wish I would’ve gotten them all looking at the camera but I still think it’s so sweet that they are all smiling. Uncle “Ses” tying Trigger’s shoes! A doctor’s kit!

Trigger liked giving everyone shots! He’s seen that a time or two! And Trigger got this great house with keys…and it even has a doorbell for each of the doors. Sydney trying on one of our presents! Someone snuck a treat while I was feeding Campbell in another room! ;)

We attempted a family photo! We had already changed the boys into their pjs since we had an hour drive home!

And one of me and Vanna with our babies (that are only 4 months apart). Campbell was so funny because he was staring Reid down. He kept just looking at him…

We had a good night…I always love visiting with Meme and Papaw. They are so sweet to us!!!!!!

The Woodards

My name is Garson Woodard. I'm a wife to Matt. He is the most incredible husband a girl could ask for. We met in Kindergarten at Cedar Creek (the school we attended for 13 years). Matt and I started dating our Jr. year in high school and dated for 6 years. We got married on June 26, 2004. I am so thankful that God brought us together! I am a mother to Trigger, Campbell, and Larkin. We worked hard to have all of them. After 2 miscarriages, two years after trying to get pregnant, a 2 week hospital stay, and a short (didn't seem short at the time) NICU stay, we brought home our first precious miracle: Trigger! He was born on July 29, 2008. Trigger's completely spoiled rotten! He is full of personality and definitely shows some of the same tenacity that his namesake had!

With our second child, Campbell, we made it to 38 weeks. He was born on June 3, 2010. He still had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for breathing issues. Campbell is absolutely precious..shy but such a little clown. I can't wait to watch our two boys which are 22 months apart) grow up together. I know they are going to fight constantly but be BEST of friends at the same time!

I just thought my boys were our miracles...and they are...but, at the end of May 2011, Matt and I found out that we were expecting the biggest surprise of our life. We were having baby #3 after being told we could never get pregnant on our own. AND, to add to the excitement, we were having a GIRL. After dealing with my medical issues, a two vessel cord, and IUGR, Larkin was born on January 6, 2012. She came here ruling the roost and I am sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

After what seemed like forever thinking that I would not have any children, God has blessed me with three beautiful babies all within 3.5 years.

After having Campbell, Matt and I decided I would become a stay-at-home mom. In alot of ways it is more difficult than teaching because I am with OUR children all day...and OUR children don't seem to listen like my students would. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Haha! Seriously though, it is the BEST job in the world and I feel very blessed to be able to be home to witness each and every minute of our boys' lives!

I started this blog when we found out we were pregnant with Trigger and have continued to document our crazy lives with a toddler and a baby since I don't have time to scrapbook anymore. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again!
