Fun with Cousins

Zizzy and Poppy got a new slide for their pool so we just HAD to go test it out a few week ago! Trigger is VERY fickle when it comes to the pool…one day we will go and he will hate it and the next time, he will LOVE it! This particular day, he LOVED it…I think a cute little girl might have been a little motivation. Sydney and Trigger CRACK me up…they pretty much act like brother and sister and I love it!

My cousin, Faith, her little girl, Sadie, and my Aunt Teresa all came over to swim with Trigger and Sydney.

And what do you do with baby #2 when you want to swim with baby #1? You lay them on a cushion and towel in the shade! I would NEVER have done this with Trigger…NEVER!

And because he is having to tag along for the ride, I’m hoping he’s going to be laid back…and this makes it appear that he just might be! (sorry but I had to post all four pictures because I just couldn’t choose…he’s just so precious…especially when sleeping!

And don’t you just want to eat that belly button up! Oh my word!!!

All of us in the pool (well, all but Liz). From left to right: Aunt Teresa, Sadie, Faith, Sydney, Me, and Trigger. After our swim, we went inside and changed clothes. The kids played, we ate RAW take out, kids (Trigger and Sadie) went down for a nap, and we visited.

It truly takes a village to take care of these two boys! and I’m so thankful to have Daddy and LIZ close to help…and they do help CONSTANTLY! We had such a fun time swimming and visiting with Faith, Sadie, and Aunt Teresa.

Heather Patterson said...: Trigger is just the cutest thing... I LOVE his smile! And baby brother is just PRECIOUS!!!!!!! Tucker's oldest cousin Riley is 6... and they actually play SO well together... she could TOTALLY be his sister!!

The Woodards

My name is Garson Woodard. I'm a wife to Matt. He is the most incredible husband a girl could ask for. We met in Kindergarten at Cedar Creek (the school we attended for 13 years). Matt and I started dating our Jr. year in high school and dated for 6 years. We got married on June 26, 2004. I am so thankful that God brought us together! I am a mother to Trigger, Campbell, and Larkin. We worked hard to have all of them. After 2 miscarriages, two years after trying to get pregnant, a 2 week hospital stay, and a short (didn't seem short at the time) NICU stay, we brought home our first precious miracle: Trigger! He was born on July 29, 2008. Trigger's completely spoiled rotten! He is full of personality and definitely shows some of the same tenacity that his namesake had!

With our second child, Campbell, we made it to 38 weeks. He was born on June 3, 2010. He still had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for breathing issues. Campbell is absolutely precious..shy but such a little clown. I can't wait to watch our two boys which are 22 months apart) grow up together. I know they are going to fight constantly but be BEST of friends at the same time!

I just thought my boys were our miracles...and they are...but, at the end of May 2011, Matt and I found out that we were expecting the biggest surprise of our life. We were having baby #3 after being told we could never get pregnant on our own. AND, to add to the excitement, we were having a GIRL. After dealing with my medical issues, a two vessel cord, and IUGR, Larkin was born on January 6, 2012. She came here ruling the roost and I am sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

After what seemed like forever thinking that I would not have any children, God has blessed me with three beautiful babies all within 3.5 years.

After having Campbell, Matt and I decided I would become a stay-at-home mom. In alot of ways it is more difficult than teaching because I am with OUR children all day...and OUR children don't seem to listen like my students would. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Haha! Seriously though, it is the BEST job in the world and I feel very blessed to be able to be home to witness each and every minute of our boys' lives!

I started this blog when we found out we were pregnant with Trigger and have continued to document our crazy lives with a toddler and a baby since I don't have time to scrapbook anymore. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again!
