Campbell’s First Birthday- Milk and Cookies

Annnnd, once again, I have been MIA.  There is a reason and I will explain after I get caught up.  These are the pictures from Campbell’s first birthday.  We had so much fun at his birthday.  It’s a lot of work to have a party at your house…lots of cleaning…lots of cooking and preparing and decorating.  All of that with two little ones almost does a momma in.  However, I am so glad that we got to have Campbell’s first party here at our house. 

Below:  Chelsea is holding Ella Cate Veatch and Campbell.  Do you see what Campbell is doing?  I thought this was hilarious.  He immediately tried to grab Ella Cate’s hand.  I don’t know why because he has never tried to hold someone’s hand before.  Look at them…aren’t they going to be the cutest little married couple!!!!Campbell got a little tired since he was missing his nap sooooo…he had to suck on his fingers and play with his hair/ear.  Some of the people at the party…Most of the kids were outside playing on the playset.  I am so glad that Matt got the border installed and the pea gravel (fall zone) all in place for the party!!!!  Matt worked really hard to get the house (outside and inside) ready!!!!More people visiting.Chelsea is such a good babysitter!!!This is Caroline (my cousin Jenny’s daughter)…I love that she has a love for her paci.  I LOVE paci babies!This might be the only picture that I got of Trigger.  He looked really cute before the party started.  His shorts were brown and white seersucker and they matched Campbell’s birthday outfit.Anna Grace sliding.Look how precious.  Papaw had to check out matt’s playset.  He was impressed that Matt had built the whole thing!  I’m pretty impressed too!!The birthday cake…I won’t get into the story behind that…let’s just say the travel home in 95 degree heat did not work so well and the cake slid off the cake board.  Look at Campbell…doesn’t he look thrilled!  Nope!!!  he looks exhausted and hot! ;) I sure love that little boy!Me and my baby!He had to get a miniature bath in the sink after getting icing all over him.Presents, presents, presents!  My word…these boys are so spoiled (blessed)!!!Trigger had icing from head to toe!!!!Campbell fell out like this after each present he opened.  He would open the present (with lots of help).  We would hand it off to be taken out of the package and Campbell would MELT DOWN!!!  Every single present!Chasten, Ella Cate, Me, and CampbellAfter the kids were burning up, they came inside to play in the playroom.Aunt Teresa and Zizzy decided that the smash cake was being wasted so they decide to eat it…with their fingers!Vanna (uncle banna) and Reid

The party was big success…it was fun! I am so glad it is behind me though!!!!
