Sunday Mornings

Usually Sunday mornings are hectic around here….I really have never understood this. How is it different from any other day that we have to get up, get ready, and be somewhere? My only guess is that I don’t prepare ahead of time…like I tend to forget on a Saturday night that I need to lay out clothes and make sure they are ironed and I forget that I have to pack diaper bags/backpacks and get lunch together for Campbell if we happen to go out to eat after church. PLUS, I almost NEVER think about what I’m going to where and am left with the “I have absolutely NOTHING to where in my closet” frustration. Well, maybe I do have a clue why Sundays are different…and it seems to all boil down to be my fault. Oops. Since I am realizing this, maybe I should hop up and get everything ready?!?! Hmmm…maybe in a minute!

Anyway, I always see people taking pictures of their families in their Sunday clothes. WE NEVER HAVE time to do this. I would love to take pictures every Sunday but I’m pretty sure the three other people in my house have other ideas! :( This particular Sunday we took a few pictures when we got home from church…here are the best of the best.

He would be one of the three that is NOT happy about the picture taking time!This picture is ABSOLUTELY perfect in my mind. It so shows their personality. Trigger is the all smiles charmer (unless he’s around just me..at that time, the smile seems to fade and the tears and screaming seem to jump into overdrive). Campbell is the serious little man. He is hard to get to smile.My three boys!I added this picture because this is usually what we get out of them…AND, looking from this angle, trigger and campbell look a lot alike!Sneezing. This is weird because I don’t think I ever captured a sneeze of Triggers but I have caught lots of Campbell’s sneezes.

Now, I should probably stop there and go get things ready for church tomorrow! We will be ON TIME!!!!

The Woodards

My name is Garson Woodard. I'm a wife to Matt. He is the most incredible husband a girl could ask for. We met in Kindergarten at Cedar Creek (the school we attended for 13 years). Matt and I started dating our Jr. year in high school and dated for 6 years. We got married on June 26, 2004. I am so thankful that God brought us together! I am a mother to Trigger, Campbell, and Larkin. We worked hard to have all of them. After 2 miscarriages, two years after trying to get pregnant, a 2 week hospital stay, and a short (didn't seem short at the time) NICU stay, we brought home our first precious miracle: Trigger! He was born on July 29, 2008. Trigger's completely spoiled rotten! He is full of personality and definitely shows some of the same tenacity that his namesake had!

With our second child, Campbell, we made it to 38 weeks. He was born on June 3, 2010. He still had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for breathing issues. Campbell is absolutely precious..shy but such a little clown. I can't wait to watch our two boys which are 22 months apart) grow up together. I know they are going to fight constantly but be BEST of friends at the same time!

I just thought my boys were our miracles...and they are...but, at the end of May 2011, Matt and I found out that we were expecting the biggest surprise of our life. We were having baby #3 after being told we could never get pregnant on our own. AND, to add to the excitement, we were having a GIRL. After dealing with my medical issues, a two vessel cord, and IUGR, Larkin was born on January 6, 2012. She came here ruling the roost and I am sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

After what seemed like forever thinking that I would not have any children, God has blessed me with three beautiful babies all within 3.5 years.

After having Campbell, Matt and I decided I would become a stay-at-home mom. In alot of ways it is more difficult than teaching because I am with OUR children all day...and OUR children don't seem to listen like my students would. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Haha! Seriously though, it is the BEST job in the world and I feel very blessed to be able to be home to witness each and every minute of our boys' lives!

I started this blog when we found out we were pregnant with Trigger and have continued to document our crazy lives with a toddler and a baby since I don't have time to scrapbook anymore. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again!
