WARNING: these pictures are not really in order…it’s about to throw this OCD girl into a tailspin…but I’m just going to post and stop looking at it!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s always fun to go to Houston with my family. We started this before a couple of years before Trigger was born. It started out as a surprise for Daddy on his 50th birthday. We have all attempted to go each year…they only year we didn’t go was the year Trigger was born but nobody ended up going because a hurricane came through and so the trip was cancelled. My dad has season ticket so they go to Houston ALL the time. They always stay at The Inn at the Ballpark. It’s right across from the stadium. My parents are good friends with the hotel manager (chris z), the chef (oscar), and the café manager (chris b). They always so kind to us when we all go. When we arrived, this sign was out by the front door.
The boys LOVED the phones in the room and fought over them constantly! We went to games Friday and Saturday night. My dad got us all tickets in the Insperity club which is SO awesome because you have a lot of room, nice movie theater seats, and FOOD. With children, it is THE best. We had someone waiting on us, cleaning up after us (that poor guy), and we had plenty of room to move around and let the children stand in front of us without worrying they would pull some lady’s hair! We took a family picture on the first night because Deanna flew out Saturday to go to the LSU game. Just for fun, I’m going to list everyone:
Will, Karen, Abby, Sydney, Lance, Trigger, Chelse, Deanna, Me, Campbell, Matt, Vanna, Daddy, Reid, Seth, and Liz
Our little (getting bigger) family.Liz took this picture while she was on the field. If you look in the middle of the photo, under the tv, Matt and I are waving. That is where my parents seats are.
My dad throwing out the first pitch at the game.We had shirts made again this year. The boys (Trigger, Campbell, and Reid) all had white shirts. Everyone else had navy shirts.Trigger had a sucker and Campbell was NOT happy that he didn’t have one too!Campbell and Aunt Deanna. On Saturday, we went shopping. Campbell finally fell asleep…with his fingers intertwined in his hair.Trigger and Zizzy had fun playing games and looking at everything in Bass Pro.Trigger and Junction Jack. You would never know by this picture that he BEGGED to go see him each night.Trigger really got into watching the game this trip…as long as no one bothered him.Campbell, on the other hand, had no desire to watch…instead, he relaxed and sucked on his fingers!Me and my boys.Trigger in the lobby of the hotel. The boys always love to play with the phones when we are in the rooms. My dad getting his ball signed after throwing out the first pitch. This is the second night..when my dad threw out the first pitch. The Insperity Club (which is where my dad has season tickets) had a cupcake cake for his birthday.Me and Campbell eating a cupcake.
