The dreaded playset

I titled the playset as “dreaded” because this project is HUGE…and Matt (and GREAT friends and family) has been working his tail off to try to finish it but he just doesn’t have alot of time.  Last Saturday, he and Gabe (and Max in the end) worked so hard and got about half of the railing done.  The boys are going to love this playset when it’s finished.  Trigger had a great time playing outside while the men worked…

Then, Poppy and Zizzy brought lunch over for all of us.  Afterwards, Zizzy followed Trigger around the yard.  He got a LITTLE dirty!

I even took Trigger for a four-wheeler ride while Campbell was napping…I’m not fully checked out on how to use a four-wheeler so we just stayed in our yard.

Trigger was so dirty that I had to bathe him down with a hose outside.  His feet were a nice shade of BROWN.

Here are a couple of pictures after all the work was done for the day.  There is still some work to be done but it is looking GREAT!!!!!

The left beam will have three different swings…it has a lower deck with a small slide going off the front…there are two high decks…one will have an open twirl slide and the other just a regular slide.  The right, high deck will have a rock wall with a zip line going off of it.  The right, high deck is also big enough that the boys could spend the night out there…I will NOT be the parent that supervises that!  :)  Oh and the part I requested is that it has a walkway between the two high decks.  I need to take a picture to post of Matt’s plans that he came up with. 

Anyway, we are excited and ready for it to be finished.  Matt’s dad was going to come over to help tomorrow but both boys are sick…and I’m going to take Trigger to the doctor…Campbell went yesterday.  AND, Matt has only had 15 hours of sleep in the past 5 days because of work….so I really, really want him to get some rest this weekend!!!!!
