So around Larkin’s birthday, Matt came home with a little surprise for his baby girl. I thought it was the sweetest thing. Matt went to the children’s shoppe and picked out a gift for his little girl. He said that he stood there forever trying to decide which stuffed animal to get. SO SWEET!!! 
He chose this elephant which is appropriate because in our family everyone knows that Matt makes the best elephant sounds. This elephant has the tail that you pull and it plays a song. 
And wouldn’t you know that Trigger has already broken it. He somehow pulled the tail out so that now it wont go back in. :( But, I really didn’t like that it had that big musical motor thingy in the body of the elephant sooooooo, I think I am about to do some surgery on the elephant and take that thing out, stitch up his back and stitch his tail back on…and there you go, she will have a perfect stuffed animal to sleep with!!!
I hope Matt and Larkin always have a special bond. A daddy has such an important role in a little girl’s life.
