One of our friends is in the national guard and has been deployed for a year. A few weeks ago Chris came home. Angie wanted a lot of people to come to surprise him. We had a huge group waiting to greet him. We actually didn’t see him get off of the plane because we were late but walked up right afterwards!

We are so thankful for Chris (and every soldier) and the sacrifice that they make. I just can’t imagine how Angie did it. I’m just not sure if I would survive if Matt was gone for a year. I would definitely be in need of some serious medication…and LOTS and LOTS of prayer!
