Mt. Mariah Baby Shower

I had a baby shower at Mt. Mariah Methodist in Arcadia. Matt's family goes to Mt. Mariah. I had a great time and we got alot of great gifts. I have added some pictures from the shower.

These are all the presents that I got to open!!!

This is a picture of the quilt that Mrs. Marcia (Matt's mom) made for Trigger.

The children are had a great time. Corbin wanted to stay at the shower because he wanted to help open all the presents. He was a big help!!! I think Corbin might be the most excited person about Trigger. He is ready for this baby to be born!!

Mrs. Marcia also gave us our carseat/stroller. I love it! I post a picture of the actual carseat in another post. Jennifer, Clay, and family gave us our pack and play which is adorable. Matt put it together on Sunday night and then took it back apart since we still have a few months!

I am posting a picture of the food table. Yummy! Check out the center piece. I don't know if you can see it good BUT Mrs. Marcia put practical items in a basket. It was very cute. The most precious thing in the basket was the cabbage patch kids doll. It was MATT's from when he was little. YES...MATT'S!!! Isn't that funny.

The Woodards

My name is Garson Woodard. I'm a wife to Matt. He is the most incredible husband a girl could ask for. We met in Kindergarten at Cedar Creek (the school we attended for 13 years). Matt and I started dating our Jr. year in high school and dated for 6 years. We got married on June 26, 2004. I am so thankful that God brought us together! I am a mother to Trigger, Campbell, and Larkin. We worked hard to have all of them. After 2 miscarriages, two years after trying to get pregnant, a 2 week hospital stay, and a short (didn't seem short at the time) NICU stay, we brought home our first precious miracle: Trigger! He was born on July 29, 2008. Trigger's completely spoiled rotten! He is full of personality and definitely shows some of the same tenacity that his namesake had!

With our second child, Campbell, we made it to 38 weeks. He was born on June 3, 2010. He still had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for breathing issues. Campbell is absolutely precious..shy but such a little clown. I can't wait to watch our two boys which are 22 months apart) grow up together. I know they are going to fight constantly but be BEST of friends at the same time!

I just thought my boys were our miracles...and they are...but, at the end of May 2011, Matt and I found out that we were expecting the biggest surprise of our life. We were having baby #3 after being told we could never get pregnant on our own. AND, to add to the excitement, we were having a GIRL. After dealing with my medical issues, a two vessel cord, and IUGR, Larkin was born on January 6, 2012. She came here ruling the roost and I am sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

After what seemed like forever thinking that I would not have any children, God has blessed me with three beautiful babies all within 3.5 years.

After having Campbell, Matt and I decided I would become a stay-at-home mom. In alot of ways it is more difficult than teaching because I am with OUR children all day...and OUR children don't seem to listen like my students would. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Haha! Seriously though, it is the BEST job in the world and I feel very blessed to be able to be home to witness each and every minute of our boys' lives!

I started this blog when we found out we were pregnant with Trigger and have continued to document our crazy lives with a toddler and a baby since I don't have time to scrapbook anymore. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again!
