almost summer

Thank goodness that it is almost summer because I am sick and tired of illnesses…and hopefully with the warm weather and school letting out soon, SURELY, HOPEFULLY all this sickness will leave my house! A few weeks ago Matt was on his way home from work on a Saturday (before the end of tax season) and he purchased a pool for the boys to play in. They were beyond excited…I have to say that they probably FROZE their little tails off for the few minutes that they actually stayed in. It will be perfect when the weather is in the high 90s-100s. I have some great pictures that I took of the boys when Matt drove up with the pool but they are on my phone so I will have to do a post from there too. These are the few that I took with my real camera.

I did have to take a picture of Miss Larkin in her very summery outfit with her big bow. And, yes, she is napping with her bow…haha! And, yes, she has a blue paci….Poor Larkin has lots of things that are blue! That’s what happens when you have two older brothers!

My children have gotten way to many icees lately. I know that is horrible parenting but with the warmer weather and the sickness we have had around here, we NEED a little happy every now and then!Okay…you probably can’t tell it from this picture but it was absolutely hilarious. Matt was trying to hook up this sprinkle thing….which the boys HATE…and Matt was getting sprayed as he was turning it on…he was squealing and running…okay, he wasn’t really squealing but it was as close as a man gets to squealing! FUNNY~

In other news, Matt informed me while we were all sick a couple of weeks ago…so like I needed more bad news…that the peach festival shirts this year will be gray. UGH! Seriously? I H-A-T-E gray shirts! All they do is wash me (and other fair people) out! I would much prefer a fun color…I mean could they be any MORE boring. I guess white would have been a little less creative than gray. I know that isn’t dreadful news but I really like new tshirts and this is upsetting to me!

The Woodards

My name is Garson Woodard. I'm a wife to Matt. He is the most incredible husband a girl could ask for. We met in Kindergarten at Cedar Creek (the school we attended for 13 years). Matt and I started dating our Jr. year in high school and dated for 6 years. We got married on June 26, 2004. I am so thankful that God brought us together! I am a mother to Trigger, Campbell, and Larkin. We worked hard to have all of them. After 2 miscarriages, two years after trying to get pregnant, a 2 week hospital stay, and a short (didn't seem short at the time) NICU stay, we brought home our first precious miracle: Trigger! He was born on July 29, 2008. Trigger's completely spoiled rotten! He is full of personality and definitely shows some of the same tenacity that his namesake had!

With our second child, Campbell, we made it to 38 weeks. He was born on June 3, 2010. He still had to stay in the NICU for 5 days for breathing issues. Campbell is absolutely precious..shy but such a little clown. I can't wait to watch our two boys which are 22 months apart) grow up together. I know they are going to fight constantly but be BEST of friends at the same time!

I just thought my boys were our miracles...and they are...but, at the end of May 2011, Matt and I found out that we were expecting the biggest surprise of our life. We were having baby #3 after being told we could never get pregnant on our own. AND, to add to the excitement, we were having a GIRL. After dealing with my medical issues, a two vessel cord, and IUGR, Larkin was born on January 6, 2012. She came here ruling the roost and I am sure that is not going to change anytime soon.

After what seemed like forever thinking that I would not have any children, God has blessed me with three beautiful babies all within 3.5 years.

After having Campbell, Matt and I decided I would become a stay-at-home mom. In alot of ways it is more difficult than teaching because I am with OUR children all day...and OUR children don't seem to listen like my students would. HOW DOES THAT WORK? Haha! Seriously though, it is the BEST job in the world and I feel very blessed to be able to be home to witness each and every minute of our boys' lives!

I started this blog when we found out we were pregnant with Trigger and have continued to document our crazy lives with a toddler and a baby since I don't have time to scrapbook anymore. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again!
