Brotherly LOVE and FUN at Zizzy and Poppys

I took some pictures of the boys one morning while they were still in their pjs.  Trigger apparently thought that the crib was a boxing/wrestling ring because this first picture looks as if he is about to take Campbell out. 

Look at that little smirk on Campbell’s face…he’s just so easy going right now (or he was then…that’s a story for another post though).  The first time Campbell knocks Trigger out, it will be WELL deserved after the torture Trigger has put him through! Ha!Campbell really wanted out of the crib but I wasn’t finished taking pictures!  Matt looked at these later and said that I was so mean!  LOOK…I stressed him out…he had to bring out his fingers!POOR baby…Later that afternoon, we went to play with Uncle Lance at Poppy and Zizzy’s house.  Uncle Lance is awesome because he flew a kite with me.Campbell just watched.Uncle Lance even let Trigger wear  his Oakley sunglasses…I tried to tell him that it wasn’t a good idea…he doesn’t have children so he doesn’t understand that they can destroy a pair of sunglasses in 60 seconds!  Then we went around back to swing and play…Poppy came home from work and pushed Campbell in this swing for 30 minutes (at least).  Trigger talked Uncle Lance into taking him over to see Mr. Leachmans tractors.Campbell was kicked back and relaxing. 

The boys sure love going to their Zizzy and Poppys house!!!!

Campbell Playing

I love these pictures…I don’t know why…they aren’t that special but they just show a few things that I love about Campbell right now (or then…a couple of months ago).

I love his little smirk.  You can’t get many smiles out of our serious boy.  He will even try to keep  himself from smiling sometimes which is really funny!I love how he gets up on his tiptoes to try to reach a toy!AND MY FAVORITE…are these CHUNKY, CHUNKY, SQUEEZABLE ROLLS on his legs…oh my goodness, how I LOVE THESE!!!!Even though it’s totally redneck, I love his little rattail…he doesn’t have that little tail anymore…he’s had a haircut since then because the tail was starting to curl and he had hair over his ears which drives me insane!  oh, and btw, his hair is greasy here because we had just gotten back from sadie’s party and I had lathered them up in sunscreen!LOOK…I got a smile!!!And I love how he snuggles!!!!

Sadie’s Birthday

My cousin has a little girl, Sadie, that turned two a couple of months ago.  She had a small family party at forsythe park.  I haven’t been there since high school.  Trigger LOVED it.  The playground isn’t elaborate but it is great for exploration because it’s not just one structure…it has several different structures, bridges, etc.  After they played, we ate pizza.  Then, we went to orange leaf (which is like our twisted cow but a little more fancy decorated).  We had a great time.  However, it was quite chaotic because I had both boys by myself because Matt was working.  Thank goodness that my parents were there to grab a hand every now and then!

Zizzy took Campbell over to meet Abby (sadie’s new little sister) Thompson.  Meme is holding Abby.

I sure love these little feet!

I wonder where his feet will take him in life…have you ever thought about that.  I really don’t think about it much because im so busy but just looking at this picture, I started thinking about where these precious feet will go in life!  I hope they choose the narrow path and they lead…I pray they aren’t feet that follow the world but are feet that stand out!

Campbell- photo session

I have been trying to use my camera in the manual mode.  If I am in a hurry, I still just use manual but I’m getting better at understanding my camera which makes me happy!  I just wish I could get my little subjects to not be so busy and to try to look at the camera every now and then!

I love how his beautiful blue eyes showed up so much better in the natural light and manual mode!

Lunch Outside

It was a pretty day outside so I decided to make our lunch and take it outside to eat in the playset.  Trigger thought it was great!Campbell did too!I can’t remember why Trigger has his hands over his ears…that is why I should blog immediately instead of waiting months…it’s still a cute picture though!I walked over to set up my camera to take a picture of the three of us.  I turned around and Trigger was feeding Campbell for me!  Occasionally he decides to be helpful! ha!The three of us!
