Matt’s mom came and got the boys one morning so Matt had a date with his girls! We don’t get to go out to eat for lunch very often. We used to go quite a bit but it’s just so exhausting with all three children…I know Matt is always in a hurry at lunch so we try not to monopolize his time! This particular day we went to dowlings and it was soooo good, as it always is! It’s always amazing to me when we take just Larkin places…it is SOOO easy with just one child when you are used to three! It’s so quiet!!!!!! I do love our special time that we get with just Larkin! Hopefully, once school starts, we can have more of these lunch dates with just the three of us!

Swim Lessons
Mrs. Colvin taught Trigger swimming lessons again this year….back at the beginning of June (yep..tad behind on blogging..I have been having too much lazy, summer fun!). He has always loved Mrs. Colvin. It’s sort of crazy that she is teaching my child since she was one of my teacher for 13 years at Cedar Creek. Trigger was timid the first day but after that, he did great!!!! Now we just need to make time to go swimming at Poppy and Zizzy’s house.
Both boys are already signed up for next year. I can’t believe that Campbell will be taking swimming lessons next year. TIME FLIES TOO FAST!!!!!

Are yall ready for this…
It’s “random pictures that haven’t made it into a post and I don’t really have a certain subject for them” DAY! Ha…..
These first two are of Larkin in one of my favorite casual outfits…LOVE the peacock! ANd it’s reversible and criss-cross back. I just love it! The funny thing is that this picture was taken about a month ago and do you see how big the top is…it fits great now! She is growing FAST!Campbell and Larkin matched one Sunday so I had to take their picture…I really needed to get a few things done in the kitchen so I put Larkin in the high chair for THE FIRST TIME! She looks so little in it. I had to use towels on each side of her because I didn’t have the padded insert in there and she kept slipping. Poor thing was probably a little upset that she didn’t get anything to eat. I wish I had gotten video of me putting her in there…the boys were leaping around my feet and climbed all over the high chair. They get so excited when she does something new or uses something new. Aren’t my boys sweet?!?!

VBS
We had a pretty busy couple of weeks…we had my birthday, trip to tyler zoo, Campbell’s birthday, swimming lessons, Campbell’s party, VBS week, and a trip to the beach all within 2.5 weeks. My house is a disaster zone still…and I have NOT recovered at all. I am so exhausted from the go-go-go and thankful for a week with a little less planned.
For VBS, I was in charge of the prek crafts again. We had 3s, 4s, and two classes of 5s. I love crafts but for some reason…I have no idea why (HA)…I just couldn’t get it together this year. The other adults in crafts will probably NEVER help with crafts again. I will really try harder to be more prepared next year. It was just REALLY hard to get it all together with all that we have had going on here lately. Not an excuse but just the truth. AND, I had to end up leaving almost every day at some point to go down the hall to feed Larkin so that wasn’t good. Next year will be better.
Trigger had such a good time…he was so excited to go to church every day. He said his favorite part was coming to crafts with me! ;) LOVE HIM!
Here are a few pictures of our week!
We took each child’s picture with their aviator goggles on (in case you were wondering what the next picture was all about)
Breakfast one morning before VBS…Campbell was rolling laughing at something Trigger was doing. I LOVE when they play together and laugh together! My sweet boys! It was a good week…I won’t lie and say it was easy getting up and being somewhere, dressed and with makeup on and with kids dressed, every day. IT WAS HARD! Isn’t that sad?!? BUT, it’s the truth. Getting three dressed and fed (one that is nursing) PLUS getting myself ready…whew. IT was just a taste of what it will be like this school year!
I’m so thankful for our church and for VBS and all the other wonderful things they provide for our children to learn and grow in their walk with Christ!

Campbell’s Birthday Party
We had Campbell’s party on June 9th…about a week after his actual birthday. I am truly a procrastinator and really didn’t plan AT all for his birthday. I waited until 2 weeks before and decided that I probably should get something together. We strictly had family over because I waited so late….I didn’t even have time to get invitations so I had to make them myself…I am telling you, this party was sooo not like me. I usually have a million ideas of things that I want to do and have this wonderful vision in my head where everything coordinates with the theme..this year there was NONE of that! I don’t really know why. I was a tad disappointed in myself and felt a little guilty. BUT, I have to say that it was probably the most laid back party that we have ever had! It was easy….our house, family, ordered Hot Rods for supper, ice cream cake and a super one cake…it was just easy.
The decorations…again it was very easy. Usually I spend so much time, MONEY, and energy in decorating our house for parties. This party, I did not. The theme was supposed to be ORANGE tractors. BUT, as you can see, most of the tractors…actually all of the tractors…are NOT orange. I literally sent Trigger into our playroom and told him to collect all of the tractors in there and bring them into the kitchen for me. A few minutes later I had all the decorations that I needed. I used burlap that I already had. The favors were reeses pieces in mason jars.I did make this banner but it did not take long and I used materials that I had in our craft closet. The picture frames I had already and I just blew up some pictures that I had taken of Campbell on Poppy’s orange tractor. AND, as far as what we did, we PLAYED. The cousins (and some of the men..ha!) played outside. We ate some Hot Rods and then we had some cake. This is one of his cakes, ice cream cake…the other one was hideous but tasted yummy (from super one…my fav cakes..but I like mine really cold, straight out of the fridge). Campbell was so funny when we were singing..I think he was a little embarrassed that everyone was looking at him.Mamaw with my little bow head!Poppy and LarkinSeth and JakeVanna and ReidAfter cake, we opened presents. Guess who tried to take over?!?!?! Gotta love a big brother!Campbell decided at his party that he would start driving his truck…let’s just say that he drives a little like his momma and is a tad out of control!Trigger, believe it or not is an AWESOME driver. He will get close to something on purpose and dodge it at the last minute…and he always misses. He has great control…even though Uncle Seth did not trust his dodging skills. HA!The party wore this girl out!Guess what…because it was so laid back, I did not get one single pictures of our family…oops!
Happy Birthday to my sweet little Campbell. I so LOVE that he is my baby boy!!!! I can’t believe that he is TWO! CRAZY!!!!!!!
Now I guess I should start thinking about Trigger’s birthday since it is in a month. Ha…guess I’ll be winging this one too!!!! :) That’s the name of the game here lately!
