Easter at MDO

Trigger had an Easter egg hunt with his MDO class.   It was a pretty chaotic day because we had to be up bright and early that morning to take Campbell to get tubes.  I really need to post about that later!  Liz came over bright and early to be there when Trigger woke up.  She got him dressed and fed.  When Matt and I brought Campbell home, Karen had dropped Sydney off.  A huge storm was passing through so Liz waited a little bit and took Trigger and Sydney to school.  After Liz got home, I handed Campbell to her and went up to the church to see Trigger find his Easter eggs….I really should’ve just taken them to school but I didn’t want to just drop Campbell off with Liz right after getting tubes…I wanted him to get home and try to put him down for a nap.  When I got to “school”, Trigger’s class was out in the hallway, ready to go hunt for eggs.  They had to find them in the gym because it was storming.Trigger and Sarah Kate.And, he’s off!He loved all the eggs that looked like balls.Trigger and DrakeTrigger and his cousin, Anna GraceTrigger’s teacher, Mrs. LindaMe and my sweet boy!

After we took this picture, we headed home, changed into our pjs and enjoyed the rainy day inside!

Dying Easter Eggs

Several days before Easter we decided to dye Easter eggs.  I learned my lesson last year after I let Trigger dye eggs the day before Easter Sunday and he had green hands on Sunday morning.  Trigger had so much fun this year.  I tried to explain it all to him but of course at his age, he is done with a dozen eggs in about 3 minutes!Me and my sweet boy!See his hands…THAT is why we did it a little earlier this year!After Trigger got finished, I let Campbell have a turn.  He really didn’t want to give up his egg…he had a death grip on it!Then, he decided to taste it after it had been in the vinegar color dye.  YUCK!!!And, apparently he didn’t learn after the first taste…look at that face!Dirty hands!

I love making memories like these with my boys!

LOVE THESE PICTURES

As everyone knows, I LOVE taking pictures of our children.  A few weeks before Easter I decided to try on this white smocked outfit on Campbell to see if it fit him.  It was Trigger’s outfit that he wore to baby dedication and I really wanted Campbell to wear it for Easter Sunday.  It fit PERFECTLY!  I just think it’s the sweetest outfit.  I just had to take some pictures of him.  In case you are wondering, we have awesome natural light in our bathroom in the afternoon which is why I take a lot of pictures in there.  Not the best backdrop but I always love how the pictures turn out.

I will most definitely get one of these in a big canvas for my room…I’ve just got to decide which one!

The Park

One afternoon after naps, I took Trigger to get an icee.  On the way home I decided to stop at Cook Park to let the boys play.  It was a beautiful day outside….perfect weather.  Trigger had a blast and Campbell even had fun too!Campbell still gets a little irritated when Trigger touches him.It was rather windy.
